For ladies Brazilian waxing we use Adam & Eve hot wax.
The wax is extremely gentle and remains very pliable during treatments, its delicate formula leaves skin so soft without causing irritation or redness.
Hot wax will remove short hairs so you dont have to leave so long between treatments, hair can be 1mm to 3mm long so you can come in every 3 to five weeks for your wax.
Hot wax takes the pain factor down, minimises bumps and irritation afterwards, hot wax is great for even the most sensitive of skins.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
How long does hair have to be ?
4 weeks after your last waxing treatment and 3 weeks after you last shave.
How long does waxing last ?
Minimal regrowth during the first 3 weeks with an increase after that, regular waxing makes hair grow slower and sparser.
How often do i need to be waxed ?
Every 3 - 4 weeks.
Lessen the pain ?
Trim hair before you come to roughly half an inch (12mm) because the longer the hair the more it will hurt when you have your waxing treatment, the pain is less when you have regular waxing every 3 - 4 weeks.
TREATMENT INFORMATION
A patch test is required 48 hours before if you have never had waxing with us before.
On the run up to your wax
Moisturise regularly on the run up to your wax.
Exfoliate your skin a few days before your wax using a mitt or exfoliation product to remove any dead dry skin.
No sunbeds, sunbathing or steam baths 24 hours before waxing.
On the day
Do not apply moisturisers and oils on the day.
Wear baggy clothes to avoid rubbing.
Avoid self tan as tan will come off with wax.
After Care for 24 HRS
Apply a soothing lotion, gel or oil regularly after your treatment to keep skin soft and minimise any redness or irritation.
Only have Luke warm showers or baths.
Avoid make-up or self tanning products.
Avoid sun beds and sunbathing.
Do not touch the area and keep the skin clean.
Refrain from applying deodorant, soap or perfumed products to the area.
Avoid chlorinated pools.
Avoid gym/exercise classes
Avoid heat treatment ie solariums, spas and saunas
Avoid tight fitting clothes.
Avoid sexual activity.
Male clients only - No gym, sport or vigorous exercise for 24 hours, men perspire more than women.
EXFOLIATE INGROWN HAIRS AWAY
(After 4 - 7 days) With a dry body brush and dry skin gently but firmly brush over the waxed area (do not over do it) then continue to do this twice a week, apply a soothing moisturiser afterwards.
