Discover the Benefits of LED Phototherapy, get your rosacea under control and your skin in great condition again, glowing with health.
LED Phototherapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to stimulate cellular activity and promote skin rejuvenation.
Different wavelengths of light, typically red, and near-infrared, have anti-inflammatory properties, making them effective in calming and soothing irritated skin. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with inflammatory skin conditions with rosacea or redness.
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition affecting the central parts of the face and is characterised by several symptoms which can all be present or only one or two. These include frequent deep flushing, persistent inflammation, itchiness interspersed with episodes of papules and pustules and frequent dry patches. Other symptoms may include burning or stinging, edema, plaques and ocular manifestations. There are 4 different types of rosacea.
The characteristic redness of rosacea is caused by dilated (expanded) blood vessels. However, the root cause of the condition is unknown.
You may find that your rosacea is triggered or worsened by certain foods, drinks or activities. Known triggers include:
Your triggers may not include all or any of these things, but you may find it useful to try to identify your own triggers and avoid them.
Includes a consultation to chat about your skin, the type of rosacea you have, what triggers your rosacea, your skin history, a skin care plan, how to look after your skin every day and product use making a plan so you can get on the road to healthy looking skin again.
